From UCLA Trials to Championing Youth Soccer: My Journey and Vision
Eleven years later, my journey to the UCLA Women’s Soccer Team began with a setback—I didn’t make the cut. However, fortune smiled upon me when the assistant coach offered to train with me during the off-season. This dedication paid off, as I not only made the team the following year but also secured the starting keeper position and was honored as the League’s Most Valuable Goalkeeper in my senior year.
This achievement was a testament to the unwavering commitment of the coaches who mentored and inspired me throughout my soccer journey. Their impact is why I have a special place in my heart for beginners, striving to enhance every player’s skills and confidence, regardless of their starting point. Being a goalkeeper and goalkeeper coach, I understand and empathize with children and the full array of emotions they must go through on the field. Being a warm, kind person is really important to to how I coach and give your child the best experience I can.
